Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:
Madison-based BioForward, a trade organization for Wisconsin’s bioscience industry, is opening an office at theUWM Innovation Campus in Wauwatosa.
BioForward has hired Michael Harrison, a former Medical College of Wisconsin researcher and co-founder ofAngio360 Diagnostics, to run the office, said Lisa Johnson, chief executive officer.
“We can’t only be about Madison,” Johnson said. “Eighty-five percent of our membership is in Madison, but this industry is statewide, so we thought it was critical to open a Milwaukee area office.”
Harrison, who will be a BioForward business development manager, will be responsible for recruiting members and running events and the group’s purchasing consortium in southeastern Wisconsin, Johnson said.
