As important as the physical health of individuals is the fervent need for social justice and equality of all people in our world today. Biohealth companies are at the forefront and have a keen understanding of the economic disparities, environmental challenges, nutritional discrepancies, and unbalanced healthcare options facing individuals today. Because we have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in these areas, it also must also be our responsibility – in our unique roles – to drive avenues in which to lessen the gaps that divide us.

In order to create just opportunities, we must continually assess how racism – cultural, institutional, and individual – persists in our city and within our organizations. We strive for a culture where people of every race, ethnicity, nationality, economic status, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, size, and ability are welcomed, empowered, and celebrated.
