EHS Working Group Meeting One
The BioForward EHS Working Group is for BioForward members that have an interest in discussing, connecting, and collaborating over the topics surrounding Environment, Health, and Safety. Over time, we plan to cover many topics like building a safety culture, waste minimization, and sustainability. The first meeting will be led by Mary Doers from Promega and the topic will be EHS Org Structure. Here are some questions Mary plans to discuss:
- What EHS org structure is working well for you, and why?
- What challenges do you have that could be addressed by a different org structure?
- What pathway do you take, and what roadblocks do you envision, if you desire to modify your EHS org structure?
We hope to have a great discussion that will lead to many more discussions off-line. Please join us!

Mary Doers, Sr. Director, Manufacturing Operations at Promega.
Mary joined Promega in 1991. She has over 20 years of experience in operations management. Since 2019 she has been providing EHS coverage and management for a large portion of the Promega campus.
