About Our Gala
Join Heroes for Healthcare for its second annual gala with an evening of food, drink, music, silent auction, stories, and awards as we honor those who made an impact for our veterans and community. Our Gala event starts at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at the Brookfield Conference Center in Brookfield, Wisconsin.
Attire for the evening is semi-formal/after five.
Live Entertainment by Cold Sweat and the Brew City Horns
Cold Sweat is Wisconsin’s premier show band, featuring some of the area’s best musicians, multiple dynamic vocalists and the renowned three piece horn section, the Brew City Horns. Cold Sweat’s energy, talent and non-stop fun will infect you until you can’t help joining in.

Master of Ceremonies
Meet our 2022 Master of Ceremonies, Dr. Jesse M. Ehrenfeld.
Dr. Jesse Ehrenfeld serves as Director of the Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin Endowment (AHW) and Senior Associate Dean and Professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) School of Medicine.
Dr. Ehrenfeld is a combat veteran and former U.S. Navy Commander who deployed to Afghanistan during both Operation Enduring Freedom and Resolute Support Mission where he cared for service members wounded in combat.

Hotel Room Block
We have a room block at the Hilton Garden Inn Milwaukee Brookfield Conference Center. This is connected to our event venue. It’s $109.00 + tax for check-in on Saturday, November 5 and check-out on Sunday, November 6. You must book a room by Friday, October 21st to receive the discounted rate.
Volunteers Needed at Gala
Heroes for Healthcare is recruiting volunteers to help out for registration, check out, coat check, greeters, auction tables, wine pull, and fun games. If you love to talk and meet new people, please sign up and enjoy a wonderful evening to help make our gala a great success.
Semi-formal, after five attire. Please wear comfortable shoes. There will be standing, sitting, and walking around. We recommend volunteers be at least 18 years old.
