Health officials say it’s even more important to get a flu shot this year because COVID-19.

Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin offered a drive thru Saturday in Menomonee Falls at the Town Hall Health Center.

“Now more than ever it’s really important that we try to do everything we can to keep ourselves as healthy as possible, and getting a flu vaccine every year is one of the ways in which we can ensure that we’re protected against a virus, and given there’s a pandemic and another virus out there,” said Gerry Steele, media relations associate for Froedtert Hospital.

Two more flu clinics will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 31, at the Town Hall Health Center in Menomonee Falls and at the Froedtert and Medical College of Wisconsin West Bend Hospital.
