Bio Highlights: Janet White is a seasoned executive in the life sciences with significant experience in life science tools companies and contract development & manufacturing organizations (CDMO). As a global business leader at Promega and Lonza with profit & loss responsibility, she has a proven track record of developing and implementing growth strategies through technology and product development as well as market-driven commercial models.
After a long career in the corporate world, Janet has embarked on the next phase of her career, following a calling to support early-stage companies and the entrepreneurial community. She is currently serving as a Business Advisor and Mentor to entrepreneurs and start-ups, bringing her expertise in identifying key opportunities, developing business cases, understanding market dynamics, and successfully commercializing new products.
Janet earned her BSE in Biomedical and Electrical Engineering from Duke University and her MSE in Medical Engineering from The George Washington University. She has held roles in R&D, marketing, sales management, and as a senior vice president & general manager responsible for running various business units. Janet currently volunteers as an advisor and mentor for entrepreneurs at MERLIN Mentors in Madison, WI, and supports accelerator programs such as Madworks and gener8tor.
