Abhi Gupta

Abhi Gupta is the Senior Director of Global Gene Therapy at Pfizer and leads Gene Therapy for the Commercial Strategy and Innovation teams.  Abhi leads the end-to-end development and commercialization of the gene therapy pipeline.  Prior to his current role, he was Pfizer’s portfolio director for Rare Disease and helped invest $800M in gene therapy manufacturing as well as several clinical programs including small molecules, biologics, and gene therapies.  Previously, Abhi ran the Corporate Finance and Strategic Planning team at Regeneron.  Abhi is a scientist by training and earned his bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Virginia and his MBA from NYU Stern School of Business.
