Bio Highlights: Justin Koepsel, PhD, MBA is the Senior Director of Commercial operations at Catalent Madison and has over 10 years of experience in the biotech industry in various technical and business roles. Since joining Catalent Biologics in 2021, he has lead Catalent’s Commercial Operations team managing Protein and mRNA drug substance clients across the Catalent network. His team works in close collaboration with the business development and site operations teams supporting contractual and business needs for clients, driving process improvements for the business, and forecasting short- and long-term demand for each site. Prior to joining Catalent, Justin served as Chief of Staff for Vyriad Inc., Technology Development Manager at Mayo Clinic Ventures, Operations Manager at Stratatech Corporation (Mallinckrodt), and Engineer at Kensey Nash Corporation (DSM Biomedical). Justin earned a BS in Materials Science from The Ohio State University, a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and an MBA from the University of Minnesota, Duluth. Outside of work, Justin enjoys spending time with his wife, Erica and two children and exploring the Wisconsin countryside by bicycle.
