Bio Highlights: Shawn Honeyager serves as Vice President of Operations at Exact Sciences, a global leader in cancer screening and diagnostics. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Madison with a Bachelor of Science in Integrative Biology, Shawn oversees global procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, and technical operations supporting the company’s comprehensive portfolio of diagnostic products. With nearly two decades of experience spanning biotechnology, healthcare, and life sciences manufacturing, Shawn has led large-scale operational organizations that deliver measurable impact for both patients and business performance. At Exact Sciences, he directs enterprise-wide initiatives that drive productivity, enhance operational efficiency, and strengthen supply chain resiliency. He has developed strategic global partnerships that have created significant value, built next-generation manufacturing and sequencing capabilities, and championed digital transformation programs to advance operational excellence. Prior to his current role, Shawn held progressive leadership positions within Exact Sciences and Thermo Fisher Scientific, where he led teams in manufacturing sciences, technical transfer, validation, and quality control. His experience includes scaling global supply chains to support millions of patient tests, executing FDA-approved manufacturing transitions, and integrating major acquisitions into complex operational frameworks. Beyond his career, Shawn values time with his wife and two kids and can often be found on the water fishing, playing golf, or enjoying live music. He loves the outdoors, traveling with his family, and cheering on the Wisconsin Badgers.
