BioForward Wisconsin Launches Inaugural Wisconsin Investor Portfolio Report at 2025 Wisconsin Biohealth Summit

New report showcases the strength and investability of Wisconsin’s biohealth ecosystem, spotlighting emerging growth companies, and commercialization momentum.

BioForward Wisconsin today unveiled the first-ever Wisconsin Biohealth Investor Portfolio Report, a landmark publication that captures the depth and diversity of the state’s biohealth innovation ecosystem. The report, introduced during the 2025 Wisconsin Biohealth Summit on October 14–15, represents a major step in positioning Wisconsin as a national and global destination for biohealth investment and commercialization.

The new Investor Portfolio Report provides a comprehensive look at Wisconsin’s emerging biohealth companies, research innovations, and early-stage investment trends. It highlights how a coordinated, data-driven approach—anchored by BioForward’s leadership and the momentum of the Wisconsin Biohealth Tech Hub—is fueling an unprecedented era of growth and collaboration across the state.

“This report reflects the strength and diversification of Wisconsin’s biohealth ecosystem,” said Lisa Johnson, CEO of BioForward Wisconsin. “It’s a call to investors, innovators, and partners that Wisconsin delivers value and opportunities —through the convergence of lower costs, extensive life sciences capabilities and advanced manufacturing.”

A Milestone for Wisconsin’s Biohealth Economy

The Wisconsin Investor Portfolio Report is the first resource of its kind to map the full range of investable opportunities across the state’s biohealth landscape—from early-stage startups to growth-stage companies advancing breakthroughs in diagnostics, therapeutics, medical devices, and digital health.

The report also showcases the growing network of investors, accelerators, and research institutions working to bring innovations from lab to market. By quantifying investment activity and demonstrating success stories, the report provides both visibility and validation for the state’s biohealth entrepreneurs.
