Joe Juergens has been an account manager with Aberdean for 3 years, he works with a variety of clients from manufacturing, to non-profits with many of his clients being in the biotech industry. Jim Ahearn, CIC, CPCU, CRM is the Vice President of Risk Management and Principal at Hausmann Group.
Before joining the team at Hausmann Group in 2008, Jim partnered with HG as a property and casualty underwriter at Cincinnati Insurance. While he underwrote commercial insurance programs for HG, he also led a team of claims, audit, and risk control representatives with Cincinnati. This level of involvement gave Jim an intimate knowledge of HG’s clientele, level of service, and way of doing business.
Jim’s experience lent itself well towards a transition to the agency, giving Hausmann Group the expertise to better negotiate for clients and position them at a higher level in the insurance marketplace. Now, Jim is involved with HG’s most complex insurance programs and largest clients.
Jim became a shareholder of Hausmann Group in 2011. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Elon University and has pursued post-graduate studies. He is a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), and holds the Certified Risk Management (CRM) and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designations from the National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research. Joe Keal has been a Commercial Client Advisor at Hausmann Group since he joined the team in 2023, bringing with him almost a decade of experience in the insurance industry. During this time, he spent a couple of years at a pollution insurance brokerage specializing in environmental insurance products. The remaining years were spent at Ansay & Associates, where he focused on serving large commercial clients. Joe is known for his attention to detail and following through on commitments. His expertise lies in diving into coverage-related questions and assisting clients in understanding various forms of risk management, making complex concepts easily digestible.
Joe holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and cheers for the Badgers any chance he gets. Beyond his professional pursuits, he enjoys engaging in conversations with others about their lives and passions. For Joe, the true joy in life comes from meeting new people.
