EHS Working Group Meeting Three

The BioForward EHS Working Group is for BioForward members that have an interest in discussing, connecting, and collaborating over the topics surrounding Environment, Health, and Safety.  This meeting will be led by Dave Kettner from Virent on the creation of a renewable biohealth industry. Dave is a passionate advocate for the use of renewable fuels and chemicals in our industry so this will be a great discussion about how Wisconsin companies can meet sustainability goals through replacement of petroleum-based plastics and chemicals with plant-based products.

Meet the Host!

Dave Kettner is Virent’s President & General Counsel and a dedicated renewable industry executive who specializes in strategies to take companies to the next level of growth and opportunity. Dave joined Virent in 2007 and served as the company’s VP of Legal Affairs and Business Operations before taking on his current role in 2019.  Dave’s vision for Virent is to drive organizational impact in the renewable industry, which is why he currently serves on the Board of Directors for the ABFA, BIO and BIO’s Industrial & Environmental Section, and the AFCC.
