My name is Diana Pastrana, and I am the founder of Defyne. I am a culture fanatic. When most people hear the word culture, they think of happy hours and ping-pong tables. I take a different approach.
Culture is the behaviors, interactions, and shared experiences of a group of people. That includes fun but is rooted in how your team handles communication, conflict, and stress. I have always believed your culture is defined and remembered by how you behave when things are hardest.
My professional experience spans over a decade across many different industries. I gave my first national talk on conflict in 2018 and havenβt stopped speaking up since. In 2021, I received the designation of an Inclusion Institute Certified Diversity Practitioner.
Who am I personally? I am an LGBTQIA+ mother of two biracial children. I am passionate about social justice.
I value authenticity. I am a social connector, driven entrepreneur, passionate Broadway fan, and a very mediocre volleyball player. If any of this resonates with you, I welcome you to connect with me. Thank you for being here and joining my journey.
A big thank you to Catalent for hosting!
