Indrajit Choudhuri, MD, BSEE

Dr. Indrajit Choudhuri is the CEO and Founder of Medicardia Health. ‘Jit’ brings over 15 years of experience in cardiovascular clinical operations, value-based care and population health, EHR implementation, and cardiovascular informatics. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University with a specialization in digital signal processing and neural network architecture.

With his background in engineering and medicine, Jit knew that the more information he had about his patients, the better he could direct their care and even proactively prevent cardiac events.  In 2018 he developed the prototype of the first healthcare data platform for in-person and virtual care that leverages automation and AI to analyze the wealth of data aggregated from varied disparate sources, including EMRs, imaging/PACS systems, home medical devices, physiologic sensors, consumer wearables, external cardiac monitors and implanted cardiac devices, to identify insights and drive appropriate diagnostic testing and intervention, and maximize quality and revenue in the transition to value-based care. With funds contributed by angel investor and Board Chair Jeff Rusinow, Medicardia Health, Inc. launched in 2020 with the vision of bringing about a digital transformation that radically improves quality and access to personalized precision care, starting with Cardiovascular Disease.
